This is a Case Study about how Training x Design helped Breastscreen SA implement their Respectful Behaviours Policy.

The Need

Breastscreen SA in Adelaide contacted Training x Design to provide a customised training workshop for their team about Respectful Behaviours in the workplace.

I met with the client to find out more about their business and what their team find challenging at work. I also wanted to find out what the business hoped to achieve as a result of this workshop.

I discovered that this client needed to develop a Respectful Behaviour policy and wanted to involve their team by having them agree with what are respectful/disrespectful behaviours in their workplace.

The Customised Training Solution

To customise this solution we incorporated the organisation’s values into the workshop to form the benchmark that guide their behaviour.

In conjunction with the client we also developed several scenarios that were unique to their roles and used them during the workshop to reinforce and apply these behaviours.

You can see further details of the workshop here: Respectful Behaviours – Breastscreen SA

The Outcome

The workshop was very successful, resulting in a list of respectful/disrespectful behaviours that the 40 team members agreed with and applied to the customised scenarios. So successful in fact that Training x Design provided an additional service and created the formal Respectful Behaviours policy for the organisation!

The participants really enjoyed the experience. They were engaged and interactive throughout the session and demonstrated a terrific attitude to the topic.
